Pamela Rose Thomas arrived on February 24, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois, and left us on August 20, 2013. She was the daughter of Noah W. (deceased) and Dorothy M. Thomas; sister to Dale (Kelley) of Bloomington, Illinois; aunt to Cory of Chicago, Illinois, Devon of Glen Carbon, Illinois, and Lisa (Eric) Hollingsworth of Indianapolis, Indiana. Also, she was the half-sister to Linda Schaller of Rockford, Illinois and Jerry (Carol) Thomas of Valparaiso, Indiana, and the niece of Bill (Lydia) Lippmann or Rockford, Illinois.
Pam graduated from Fenton High School and worked many years in the travel industry. The real joy of her life was earning her 5th Degree Black Belt and being an instructor at National Karate, Inc. But what brought her the most satisfaction was the teaching and mentoring of the young kids in the art of Karate and all its disciplines. Not only were they her students, but to Pam they were also her extended family, and treated them as such.
Through her dedication to her Karate family and her generosity to all of those around her, Pam touched many people and impacted their lives, probably even more so than she ever realized. She will be sorely missed by all.
