Dear Benvenuto Family,

I was a fraternity brother with Paul at Penn State and indeed he was my "Big Brother."  Unfortunately, we haven't spoken in quite a while, as happens.  I was frankly stunned and very saddened to just learn today of his untimely passing.  As you know, he was a great man and I am certain a wonderful and caring husband and father.  My thoughts are prayers are with you all.

I admired Paul's positive attitude and what a great role model he was for his family.  I'm sorry we won't be able to attend the memorial service since we have relocated to the west coast.
