Paulette M. Oost

Paulette M Oost, 72 entered into eternal peace while comforted by family through hospice care on Wednesday Nov 4, 2015 at her home in Palatine, Il after her courageous battle with cancer.

Paulette was born on August 9, 1943, a daughter of the late Paul and Naomi Bergren. She married her soul mate and best friend, the late Jaccob Oost Jr on Nov 14, 1987 in Kenosha, Wi. Paulette was a lifelong Catholic. Paulette was a very kind soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always thinking of others. Paulette was well known for her "hip" style and her love of jewelry. Even on her weakest days, it was certain you would see her with the latest nail styles and plentiful bling.

She was predeceased by her husband of 13 short years, in 2000; her loving mother Naomi Bergren in 1997.

She leaves her treasured memories and lifelong stories to be cherished by her; caring children, Chris (Wauneta) Volanti, Therese (Terry) Beesley, Aimee Loeper, and Ellen (Bob) Zalce; Sisters, Charmaine (Dan) Frias, Holly (Jerry) Przeniczny, Judy Hastings, and Janet (Mike) Miskell; Brothers, Steve (Vicki) Bergren and Paul (Gail) Bergren.

She was a caring Grandmother "Nana" to 14 Grandchildren and 14 Greatgrandchildren.

Funeral Service with visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Chapel Hill Gardens West Main Chapel 17W201 Roosevelt Road Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181. Prayer service will be held at the Main Chapel at 11 a.m. Monday November 9, 2015 with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated or donations in her honor to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis TN 38101-9929.
