Richard B. Benge, age 72, at rest Jan. 14, 2011, beloved husband of Sharon, nee Fippinger, to whom he was married 51 years, loving father of Richard (Teri) Benge, and Kerri (Dan) Bartkowiak, adored grandfather of Aubrey, Alec, and Garet Benge, and Lindsay, Danny, Olivia, and Ruby Bartkowiak, friend to many. Visitation Wednesday 4 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday 10 a.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17 W 201 Roosevelt Rd., (1 blk West of Rt. 83) Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, Oak Brook Terrace, IL. Richard was a former member of Electrical Union # 134 for 51 years, he was an active member of DuPage Valley Chorus most of his adult life and he was also an owner of Oak Brook Electric for 20 years with his partner, Michael Delaney.
