Dear Sr. Ruth was such a joy to be around -- always smiling with a twinkle in her eye. She knew her Bible well and was an precious example of Christ's character likeness. We will miss her, but are so thankful that she has gone to her reward — a life without pain and sorrow, always rejoicing with a joy we could never imagine now!
"In thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for ever more." Psalm 16:11 — what a prospect!
We remember all of Sr. Ruth's family members in our hearts and prayers as they adjust to life without this sparkling gem . . .

At one of our Mahomet conventions when talking with Sr. Ruth, I remember commenting on how I liked her pretty shawl she was wearing. She said it was one of the several shawls she had knitted in her life and then said she would like to give me one. So in one of my visits to Danny and Judy’s she took me into her bedroom and laid some of her shawls out on the bed and let me choose one. On another visit she was going through some of her special-made Christmas cards sent to her over the years by her son, Jim and family. The cards were so artistically made and enjoyed looking at them. She so loved her children and grandchildren and they loved her. (She also cared about Jim’s two dogs and they liked her.) I wish Sr. Ruth could have been with us just a little longer in our class. And I wish I could have gotten in one last hug. This year Sr. Ruth handed me a birthday card--- -with reference inside: R747 …about how the Lord gives blessings to his children without measure…but our trials He measures carefully...burdens weighed with exactness. It was a very helpful reference to me. Love and Prayers to the family. Sr. Sandy Martin
