Shahnaz is survived by her husband, Muzaffar; her five children, Javaid, Farah and her husband Jim, Tariq, Iqbal and Nadia; her three granddaughters, Nazra, Aniyah and Sonia; her brother and two sisters, Salima, Basharat and Bushra; and extensive family throughout the world including many nieces and nephews.
Shahnaz was a doting wife and mother and devoted her life to her family. She made sure there was always warm food on the table, clean laundry in drawers and a clean house to come home to. But most importantly, she loved unconditionally. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, ice cream and bright colors.
Memorial Service and burial will be privately held by close family members at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home & Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace in Illinois.
