Please accept our sincere condolences.  We heard today that Tommy passed away and we were saddened and shocked.  He was always such a friendly neighbor.  After we moved from the neighborhood we on occasion would run into him at the grocery store and we would chat  about past experiences.

I was so sad to hear about Tommy’s passing. He was such a joy to see anytime I was at the D’s house. 

Love his mischief, goodness and joking around. He was a very special guy. He gave out a lotta love and he’ll be so very missed. Lots of love to Tommy and all those lives he touched so sweetly.

We are deeply saddened by Tommy's departure. We adore our joyful and compassionate cousin, despite the Pacific Ocean separating us. He always greeted us with excitement and innocence when we spent time together. He will live on in our hearts forever.

Thomas was one of those rare souls who moved through this world with complete kindness. Thinking of Tommy, one can’t help but smile.

We worked closely together for 7 years at Osco. Conversation usually consisted of our time at York, the Cubs, stickers and how to convince “Big Guy” we needed a break from doing actual work. Tommy knew just how to manipulate the bosses, and when things worked in his favor, he would give me a look, let out a slight mischievous laugh - along with the biggest grin and disappear.  

After I moved to California, Tommy and I kept in touch via phone and he would always ask when I was coming home. I saw Tommy on every visit back.

I have so many joyful memories of Tommy. He left such a positive impact on so many peoples lives. He brightened all our days.

Tommy, I’m gonna miss you buddy. I’ll make sure I keep my keys close and like you always reminded me: if I’m going to use my parent’s car - then I gotta put gas back in the tank. You’re right. :)

Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of Tommy. He was truly a ray of sunshine and I will miss him. I have so many wonderful memories of him riding his bike around the neighborhood, stopping by the house to chat when I lived in Oak Brook and his phone calls.   It was always a joy to see him at Jewel/Osco. Tommy was so proud of his participation as a York Duke and it seemed like everybody knew him. I am so blessed to have known him.

We have known Tommy since the day he was born until the day he left us for heaven. Tommy was truly an angel on earth and has now become an angel in heaven. He lived his life with a joyful spirit, always smiling and never harboring anger towards anyone. Kind and helpful at all times, there is truly no one like Tommy in this world.

Rest in peace, Tommy. I will always remember you riding your bike in our neighborhood. It was a delight to catch sight of you, and even sweeter when you stopped to ask if I had keys on me. You were like sunshine, brightening the day of anyone lucky enough to cross paths with you.

We are so very sorry for your loss.   Tommy was such a bright spot in the world - always smiling, always friendly, always reaching out.  I can't think of childhood Chinese school without Tommy there at all the Taiwanese gatherings! He will be missed.
