Virginia I-Hua Chen, 78, of Addison, passed away February 11, 2016. Beloved wife of the late David Chen; Proud mother of Nina Chen (Jerzy) Sobota; Cherished grandmother of Hadrian Sobota. A funeral service will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home on Sunday, February 21st, at 2:30 PM. Friends and family are encouraged to bring their violins, should they wish, to join in the playing of the Bach Violin Concerto for Two Violins first movement, a special musical piece Virginia enjoyed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to establish a scholarship fund for Virginia’s grandson, Hadrian. Children are welcome to attend the service.
