

Weijung Ho Yeh was born on September 3,1927 in the city of Guangzhou, China. Her father was a real estate mogul from Hong Kong. She was very intelligent and hard -working, even at a young age. She graduated from True Light Middle School in Guangzhou and from Chu Hai College of Higher Education in Hong Kong. In 1951, she went to Taiwan en route to the United States but did not quite make it there because of the war. In Taiwan, she met her husband, Pei Tang Yeh and they remained married until the day she died--fifty-seven years. They have two sons, Chen Feng Yeh and Kuo Feng Yeh, and one daughter, Chein Wen (Wendy) Yeh. She and her husband migrated to the United States twenty years ago because her only daughter, Wendy, lives in Chicago. Since then, she has enjoyed a happy, peaceful life primarily enjoying her grandchildren and traveling. Because of strong genetic predisposition, she became ill with diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and Parkinson's disease. She passed away peacefully at the age of eighty-five leaving behind her husband, three children and five grandchildren.
Weijung Ho Yeh, age 85, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Peitang Yeh; loving mother of Cheng Fong Yeh (Chun Fang Chen), Kuo Fong Yeh (Meichu Hsieh), and Chien Wen Yeh (Dr. David Chua); cherished grandmother of Hui Ping, Chia Yu, Chia Ling, Tiffany and Chanelle Chua; and loving sister of many siblings. Visitation Monday, October 17, from 5-9 pm and funeral services Tuesday, October 18, 10:00 am at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17W201 Roosevelt Road, (1/4 mile west of Rt. 83) Oakbrook Terrace.
