Albert was born on Christmas morning 1934 in Arizona. He was always proud of that. He passed away on October 3, 2019 after a long illness. Albert is pre-deceased by both his parents, son Joel D. Heath, and step-son Gregory Burhans. Albert is survived by his current wife Kay, former wife Anita and their daughters Sharron of San Diego, Deborah of Clovis, step-daughter Linda and step-son Douglas and wife Keri of Oregon. Albert is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, sister’s Madeline Briggs and Paula Beery, brother-in-law’s Charles Briggs and Harold Beery and many other family members.
Albert graduated from Santa Ynez Unified High School in 1953 and Fresno State College with a Bachelor’s degree of Science in accounting. In between his college days he served in the United States Army for two years with an Honorable Discharge.
Albert’s professional career was a Certified Public Accountant. He was a partner for many years with the firm Baker Peterson and Franklin, CPA, in Fresno, CA. He opened his own firm in Oakhurst CA to be closer to his home in North Fork, CA.
Albert’s happiest times were living and working on his ranch he owned with his wife Kay. They had many horses, cows, chickens, cats and dogs over the years. His last dog Duke was his favorite.
Albert’s Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Palm Memorial Sierra Chapel at 1:00 in the afternoon in Oakhurst, Ca. A reception to be announced will follow.
