Helene Klement

Helene Klement, born Helene Rieger on September 13, 1937, in Kiev, Ukraine, to Paul and Ludmila Rieger, peacefully passed from this life into her heavenly home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, while sleeping on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

In 1955, Helene emigrated to the United States. She made Los Angeles, California, her home in 1962, where she married and lovingly raised her three children in Sylmar. Family was the center of Helene's life, and becoming an Oma in 1992 brought her immeasurable joy. She treasured her growing family and the many memories they created together.

After retiring, Helene moved to Oakhurst, California, in 1995. Following the loss of her husband in 2014, she continued to live with grace and steadfast faith. In 2022, she relocated to western Idaho to live with her eldest son and his family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 17, at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Oakhurst, California. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance of Helene's life, to celebrate God's promise of eternal life, and to honor the remarkable woman she was.
