Jeffrey Joseph Hackett

Born on November 5, 1979, in Pacific Grove, California, Jeffrey was the son of Kathryn and Dennis Hackett. He grew up in Pacific Grove and graduated from Pacific Grove High School in 1998.

As a youth, Jeffrey was a natural athlete. Sporting his lucky # 5, he was always on the go playing soccer, baseball, basketball, and football on the local fields and courts of PG. He loved water sports and cherished summers on the lake with family and friends. He was an unwavering Raiders fan, a Silver and Black faithful until the end.

He is survived by his loving mother, Kathryn Curtin-Hackett of Coarsegold, godparents Glenn and Eileen Smith of Pacific Grove, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, sister of the heart, Cassie Wheeler, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Hackett, his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Elda Curtin, paternal grandparents Jack and Doris Hackett, and godbrother, Cody Smith.

Family and friends are invited for a memorial gathering to be held Saturday, December 5th from 1 to 4 p.m. at 308 W. Lowell Avenue in Tracy, CA. Your presence and support mean the most.
