Jesse “Ben” Torres passed peacefully in his home in Bass Lake. Ben is survived by his son David Torres of Idaho, his daughter Patricia Stimson of Idaho, his daughter Monica Torres of San Jose, and his daughter Elizabeth Guttierrez of Livermore. He is preceded in death by his son Bryan Torres of Antioch. Ben leaves behind four grandsons, one granddaughter and eight great grandchildren. He is bereaved by JoAnn, his wife and companion of 25 years. Ben was a loving step father to Bobette Bullock of Redding and Rick Baker of Philadelphia and two grandsons and two granddaughters. Ben lived his life for God, family and friends. He serve proudly in the Navy during the Koran War, then served the San Jose area as a barber for 58 years. He and JoAnn have enjoyed the past 17 years in the Bass Lake area.
