I was the 'pesky' little sister, Vicki!  Randy, as the family called him, was 8 when a 2 year old 'wild child' was adopted into the family and turned his world upside down!  To adapt to this new arrangement, a rule was implemented and I was told 'keep out of Randy's room'!!!  So the pest would defiantly stand in the doorway with toes over 'the line'!
In our later years, my husband, Patrick, and I tried to be there for him until his lack of mobility became too hard.  Sadly, he ended up in a nursing facility for a year before passing. Even though he was in terrible pain we would 'treat' him to his favorite Starbucks Frappuccino, Jersey Mikes Big Kahuna sandwich or Buffalo wings,  "snuck" in undercover past the nurse's station bringing a big smile to his face. Continuing the tradition, we did not know we had "snuck" in his last treat two days before he passed.  Rest now in the arms of Jesus, 'Brudder'.
