Karina Rose BARNETT, age 17, of Ahwahnee, California passed away on Thursday September 11, 2019. Karina was born March 9, 2002.

Karina Rose Barnett of Ahwahnee, CA was born on March 9, 2002 to Jim and Bridget Barnett. She was the youngest of five children.

Karina graduated from Minarets High School in Just 3 years with honors.

Karina was an excellent athlete and played soccer, softball, volleyball and was an avid basketball player for the Yosemite High School Badgers JV team.

She was a dedicated, self-motivated worker. Karina's work experience included landscaping contracts and cutting firewood. She had worked in True Value's Garden Dept. and was currently employed in Raley's produce dept..

Karina Rose had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to have fun. She enjoyed Fishing, motorcycle riding and camping. She played the piano and had a love for horses.

Karina leaves to cherish her memory, her parents Jim and Bridgett Barnett. Her siblings, Roxanna, Justin, Rachel and Josiah. Her Grandmother, Jean Barnett and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Cousins and friends.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday September 18th from 4:00-7:00 pm at Palm Memorial Sierra Chapel located at 49269 Road 426, Oakhurst, CA 93644

A Celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm on September 28th at Wasuma Elementary Gymnasium.

Dear Barnett Family. We are so sorry for your loss. Karina sounds like she will be remembered for a very long time. A lot of accomplishments for a person her age. Although we never had the pleasure of meeting her, we know from the examples of her grandparents she had to be a highly motivated young lady. Again, our deepest sympathies. Gary and Delana Anderson
