We enjoyed getting together with Randy & family at the Oregon coast. 💐

Aunt Sally loved a good joke, and people admiring her “pet cat” were encouraged to pet it or look out for it. It worked on us, and the next day we watched a repairman fall for it as well as she placed it where he had to step around it and we all had a chuckle. 💜

Our last visit with Aunt Sally included the usual elements of a slumber party as vidd as it’s with her always did; Joanne won the battle over sleeping in the chair. 
Aunt Sally had a heart of gold and a sunny disposition to shine her good humor and love into every nook and cranny of the people who needed her most at any given moment. She remains with us .

My deepest sympathies to all the family and friends who were   blessed by the loving presence of Sally in their lives. She will always be in my heart as "Aunt Sally"-the force of nature who married my dad's younger brother, Uncle Eddie. Loving, funny, strong, fierce, kind and sweet-Sally will be remembered as long as breath is drawn.  She offered the most soothing words in times of loss, shared the funniest stories, and cooked the best food for the soul.  
One of my favorite memories of her is when my sister Maryanne and visited her in North Fork one spring.  Sally mentioned that she had always wanted to find the geographic center of California-it was close, but she didn't know exactly how to get there.  With a little research, help from local officials, a full tank of gas and lots of determination, we found it on the side of a dirt road out in the hilly pastures around North Fork before the sun set. With her characteristic drive, she made it up the hill for a photo to remember the day. Sally looked like a queen on a royal throne, viewing her realm with peace and happiness.  She was beautiful and beloved. Forever in our hearts.

So sorry for your loss. Granny was always sweet to me.  She will be missed.

Thank You for your unconditional love and guidance throughout my life. I remember jumping on the twin beds with Danny as a very young child, even though we may have been pulling your last nerve of the day you had a talent at redirecting our attention towards your needs. With love and patience.
