Vince was born June 4, 1956 to Clara Jean Robinson and Mark Hall in Payson, Utah. He grew up in Springfield, Utah. Vince joined the US Coast Guard after high school, married Diane Hampton and had two children, Jeppa and Isaac. After his time in the Coast Guard in Alaska, Vince moved back to Salt Lake City, where, as a single father, he raised his two amazing kids. He worked construction and also spent time in the Army National Guard.
Vince and Wendy Spencer Hall were together 34 years. They joined the Escapees RV club in 1997 and spent most of the time after that traveling, exploring, and geocaching this beautiful country as full time RVers. For the first 6 years of that time, Vince enjoyed working as a Campground host in several state parks, while Wendy worked as a traveling nurse. They were very active in the Escapees Boomer chapter, participating in or hosting events in Quartzsite, Arizona, Death Valley, Anzo Borrego, Joshua Tree.
In 2019 they purchased a membership the in the Escapees Park of the Sierras, outside of Yosemite, and traveled in the motorhome several times a year. Vince loved the park, living in the Sierra foothills, sitting on his deck surrounded by oaks and manzanitas, all the friends he made at the park, and was active in the Veterans group. He was a certified Service Officer for Disabled American Veteran's and loved helping fellow veterans with their disability claims, both in the park and the community.
The Robinson family reunions were very important to Vince. His grandparents had 14 children, so the yearly reunions are large and very fun. He loved reconnecting with all the members of the family and rarely missed a year. And he regularly performed his infamous "Poop House" song around the campfire to the delight of all the children, and teaching them how to avoid "hiney biters" when in the woods at night.
