William "Cody" Sible

January 30, 2002November 12, 2021

William “Cody” Sible – 19 of Coarsegold, CA, was taken tragically from us on Road 415 in Raymond, CA, in the early morning hours of November 12, 2021. Cody was born on January 30, 2002, in Clovis, CA. He is survived by his father Gene Sible, Sr. (Stacie) of Coarsegold, CA, mother Kristi Staebler (Edward) of Woodway, TX, sister Nora Robinson (Dustin) of Fresno, brother Gene Sible Jr of Coarsegold, sister Pauline Sible of Hanford, brother Joseph Sible of Coarsegold, CA, brother Jacob Staebler and sister Octavia Staebler, both of Woodway, TX, Taylor Winn (Brandon Rogers) of Raymond, CA, Brittany Enneberg (Dereck) of New Princeton, OR, and Grandfather Joseph Taylor of Corning, CA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family. Cody loved to be outdoors, doing anything or nothing. Hunting, fishing, ranch work, riding bulls, music, and helping anyone he could, were some of his favorite things to do; a great bonfire, surrounded by friends, was his ideal way to end the day. When he was younger until age 12, he lived in Anderson and Redding, CA. He then moved back to Coarsegold, where he resided until his passing. He believed in the Lord our Savior and is his child, and he is now living with him alongside several friends and family members who have been lost along the way. His friends and family describe him as caring, compassionate, empathetic, humorous, hard-working, stubborn, always ready to help someone in need, and had a zest for life like no other. Cody, ol’ son, we will see you soon. We will feel your presence as you are with us, keeping us safe, watching over us in our daily lives until we meet again.

I went to the site yesterday. It was so difficult to imagine that someone could have done this to you. You had so many hopes and dreams. Finishing high school, joining the US Marine Corps were the dreams you held forever. Life wasn't always easy or handed to us. You were such a hard-working young man, when you weren't injured. And what a great big brother you were, from swimming with the kids, playing catch, teaching Ava how to block the ball from hitting her in the face...good times. You had such a zest for life and loved to live it to the max. Cody, I miss and love you so much. Your big eyes, little freckled face, blonde, curly headed little boy. You will forever be my favorite 19 year old.
I love you - momma

I met Cody my freshman year of high school we were in math together, he was so sweet and kind to me, since the first day we met. He was always making sure I was doing good and if I was sad he’d stay up and talk to me till super early in the morning, just so I had someone to talk to.. I hadn’t seen him in a few years and he was sooo excited to see me at the yhs football game (November 22nd, 2019) he gave me the biggest hug ever and he asked how I was doing and we talked for a long time….. We were even talking the night before it happened, he told me happy birthday. I sure do love and miss him. Gone but never forgotten, always in our hearts❤️❤️❤️
