To My Only Son, My Heart, My Forever Love

My Son,

There are no words that can truly express the pain of losing you, especially so soon after losing your mom. Life has dealt me a heartbreak that I never imagined I would have to endure. First, I had to say goodbye to the woman I loved, and now I have to face this world without my only son. I keep asking myself how a father is supposed to find the strength to keep going when so much of his heart has been taken away.

You were my son, my pride, my joy, and a piece of me that I will carry forever. No matter how old you were, you would always be my baby boy. I wish I could have one more conversation with you, one more hug, one more chance to tell you how much I love you. If I had known our time together would be so short, I would have held on a little tighter and treasured every single moment even more.

Losing your mom was already a pain I didn’t know how to carry, but losing you so soon afterward has left an emptiness that words cannot describe. I take comfort in imagining that you are reunited with her, that you are wrapped in her love once again, and that you are both watching over me and your Sister from heaven. Though my heart aches to have you both here, I pray that you are at peace in each other’s arms.

Son, I need you to know that you will never be forgotten. I will carry you with me in every sunrise, every quiet moment, every memory, and every tear that falls. On the days when the pain feels unbearable, I will try to find strength in the years and moments God allowed us to share. I may never understand why you left so soon.

Rest peacefully, my son. Give your mom a hug for me, and tell her how much I miss you both. Until God calls me home, I will love you from this side of heaven, missing you more than words could ever say.

You will always be my son, my pride, my heart, and my forever blessing.

I love you beyond this life, beyond the stars, and beyond eternity.

Cousin your passing is still unbelievable and heartbreaking 💔 to me. Just a little over a year ago I was there for Aunt Emma’s homegoing and though a sad occasion. I enjoyed being there with family! I posted some pics of our last time together. I love you cuz! Rest easy!

In Loving Memory of My Dear Brother ❤️🕊️

My dear brother, it is so hard to find the words to express the pain of losing you so suddenly. At just 59 years young, we never imagined that October 22 would be the day we would have to say goodbye. One moment, we were laughing and sharing life together, and now we are left holding on to the beautiful memories and the love you gave us.

You were more than a brother. You were a man who showed up. No matter the occasion, no matter what was going on, you were there for the people you loved. You supported your family like no other, and your presence was a gift that we may never have fully realized until now. Your love was shown through your actions, your loyalty, and the way you stood beside your family. That kind of love is rare, and it will never be forgotten.

My heart aches for your two young sons, who have lost their father far too soon. I pray they always feel your love surrounding them and find comfort in knowing the kind of man their father was. Your legacy lives on through them, through our family, and through every life you touched.

Though our hearts are broken here on earth, I find comfort in imagining you reunited with Mom and Family members in heaven. I can picture the joy of that reunion, and I hope you know how deeply you are loved and how much you will be missed.

Alfred, you really left too soon.  It is going to be so hard from now on without you enjoying life with the rest of us.  You are apart of every ffamily memory that i have. I remember picking you up from the hospital to just being at a piccnic together. Our parents took us to Las Vegas the summer you turn one. Me and June had you walking by the end of our vacation.
