Edward Newball

Edward Newball was born on January 12 1978, to Ninfa Newball and Gustavo Consuegra in his hometown Barranquilla, Colombia. In 1991 at the age of 13 he immigrated to the United States with his mother and younger brother Albert. He graduated from Mission High School in San Francisco, which became his new home.

It was in San Francisco that Edward met Marjorie Espiritu while they were working together at a department store. They later became the parents of two children, Emilia Marie and Emmanuel Joseph Newball. Although Edward and Marjorie eventually separated, they remained good friends and devoted themselves to raising their children together.

From a young age, Edward had a passion for airplanes and dreamed of one day working around them. His wish finally came true when he began working at the Oakland International Airport.

Edward departed this life on September 28, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents Ninfa Newball and Gustavo Consuegra, his brother Albert Consuegra Newball, and his two children Emilia Marie and Emmanuel Joseph Newball. He leaves behind nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many dear friends. His children will always remember him as hardworking and loving father.
