Helen Marie Richardson

Helen Marie Richardson, age 77, was born December 11, 1945 in Colfax, Louisiana to the late Mr. Fred D. Pinkney and Mrs. Willie Davis Pinkney. Hellen departed her Earthly Life on Friday, January 20, 2023.

Hellen received her formal education within the Tyler Independent School District, graduating from Emmett Scott High School. She was united in marriage to Eddie James Richardson who preceded her in death. During her previous marriage to Alvin Wooley, Sr. in 1968, from this union two children were born, Kenya and Alvin.

Hellen accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at an early age where she became a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas under the Pastoral leadership of Rev. S. K. Bizzell. When she moved to Oakland, California she joined Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She was an active member, serving in the Choir, serving as a Deaconess and serving as a Mother of the church.
