A public viewing will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral service will occur Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
Mattie will be laid to rest in ROLLING HILLS MEMORIAL PARK, 4100 HILLTOP DR, Richmond, CA.
Mattie was born in Oakland, CA to Geraldine Nicholson, however raised by Olivia and Eugene Lee.
Mattie attended Oakland Schools District, graduating from Oakland Tech. She was known for her outgoing personality, she enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping and listening to music.
Mattie accepted Christ at an young age being baptized at Harmony Baptist Church in Oakland.
Mattie had a beautiful selfless heart, who always went out of her way to help others
She was preceded in death by (Mothers) Geraldine Nicholson and Olivia Lee and (Father) Eugene Lee.
To cherish her memories are Children: Andrea Smith, Stanford Boatner, Isaac, Monique, Angela and Tamar Blackman. Two grandchildren: Kierra Lee and Stanford Boatner Jr. The lovers of her life, her two pet dogs,
Poppa and Molly, and a host of family and friends.
