Maude Katherine Acoff

Maude Katherine McField was born on January 6th 1935, she was the 5th child of nine children of

the late Willie and Rose Robinson McField.

She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Orleans, LA., as a infant she was dedicated to God.

She attended and Johnson C. Lockett Elementary, Trinity Lutheran School and Joseph S. Clark H.S.

She attended Dillard University for one year majoring in Early Childhood Education.

Maude was a dedicated educator who taught at Manzanita Elementary School for eighteen years,

teaching her lifelong dream of reading to young children struggling with learning to read. After

retiring, she tutored at her home for many years. She believed that every child had potential and encourage them to do their best.

She was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to everyone.
