I remember him roasting Riddley Walker in a rundown Riverside railway tunnel. My head's hung now that Nathan's flown. I was a member of his audience. May his molecules move into the galaxies.

Perhaps John Cohen put it best. Mr. Flye was worth more than one of humankind's oldest machines: better Nate than lever.

Nate and I were at Columbia University at the same time - he was a couple of years ahead of me.
He was a wonderful guy, fearless, funny, smart and kind. 
I am so sorry for his loss.
