Mr. Robert L. Ward, Jr., age 88, of Oakland, CA passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024. He was born in the state of TX to Mr. Robert L. Ward, Sr. and Mrs. Mae E. Wilford Ward. They were from OK and AL, respectively.
A Graveside Service in honor of Robert will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA 95620.
Robert served in the United States Air Force. He was an avid Raider's fan and his favorite pastimes were working on cars, watching football, and fishing at Whiskey Slough Marina near Stockton, CA.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister who took care of him, Barbara J. Batom whom he lived with for several years and five children.
