A memorial service for Roy Garland will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at C. P. Bannon Mortuary, 6800 International Blvd, Oakland, CA 94621.
He was the middle child of 5 to his parents William and Glecia Garland, all but one who preceded him in death along with 2 sons and his nephew.
Roy Thomas Garland Sr was a beloved father, grandfather and friend. He was an all around bay area sports fan who loved the local teams'
He is survived by his daughter April Garland: brother: Rodney Garland grandchildren and grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
