Albert H. Melchert

He was a veteran of the United States Army. Albert later owned Albert Melchert Custom Home Builders for 45 years. He was a member of The Church at Triple Cross in Micanopy.

He enjoyed hunting with his family in Michigan, Wyoming and Florida.

Albert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Donna G. Melchert and son, Wayne A. Melchert.

Survivors include his two daughters, Diane Nash (late Dennis M.) and Sandra Pangborn (John); sister, Loretta Boike (Carl); along with seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

A visitation for Albert will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34480, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM. Albert will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 Southwest 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513 with his wife and son.
