Archie’s life was enriched by simple pleasures. He enjoyed watching football, traveling, and playing board games with his family, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He had an exceptional ability to make everyone feel warm and welcome, always ready to teach a child to throw a ball or sit down for a tea party with dolls. His compassion and kindness touched many lives and left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
The family holds close the words of an unknown author, which resonate deeply as they remember Archie: “In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill.”
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to the American Heart Association. Archie will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
