On July 24, 1954, she married Joseph Taormina, with whom she shared many years of marriage and family life.

Her dedication, warmth, and strong work ethic were qualities that touched both her professional life and the many personal relationships she built throughout the years.
A woman of deep faith and generous spirit, Benedetta was a member of the Catholic Daughters. She found great joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures, especially reading, drawing, painting, travel, and cooking a meal for her friends and family.
Bennie is lovingly remembered by her children, Joanne Kegan and Vita Taormina Green; her grandchildren, Sean Somers, Christy Creamer, and Paul Taormina; and her sister, Giuseppina Bergamo. She is preceded in death by her son, Daniele "Danny" Taormina. Her family will forever treasure the memories, traditions, wisdom, and love she shared so freely throughout her life.
