Caroline Angela "Angie" Hendra

Caroline Angela "Angie" Hendra, 98, who was born to Beda Bauman and Caroline (Klein) Bauman on September 15, 1927 in the Villages of Lake Linden, Michigan, peacefully passed away on October 11, 2025 in Belleview, Florida. She graduated high school in Hubbell, Michigan, and went on to work as a secretary for the Ford Motor Company until her retirement. She married the love of her life, Frederick J. Hendra, Jr., on February 14, 1986, and they were happily together until he passed away on January 3, 2024.

Angie is survived by her daughters Catherine Byrd, Sandra Scott and Mary Brinegar and step-children Thomas Hendra, Kathy Speer, and Timothy Hendra. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Scott and a son, Lawrence Scott. She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 12 great great-grandchildren and was preceded in death by a grandson and a great-granddaughter. She is also survived by sisters Betty Ofstead and Mary Brunk and brothers Thomas Bauman, Edward Bauman and David Bauman. She was preceded in death by brothers James Bauman and Stephen Bauman.

Angie will be interred at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, Michigan. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
