

Diana was born in Hamersville, Ohio on March 31, 1945. She graduated from Central High School at San Angelo, Texas in 1963.
Diana was extremely honored to join and serve the United States Army Reserves from approximately 1976 through 1988. She was awarded an Army Marksman Metal for shooting an M-16 during a training exercise at MacDill Air Force Base.
On October 22, 1994, Diana married Hal Edward Canady (now deceased in 2017) in Jacksonville Florida.
Diana worked for the University of South Florida for several years and then at CSX transportation, formerly known as Seaboard Coastline Railroad for approximately 20 years.
Diana enjoyed karaoke, dancing, gardening, and quilting. She had a passion to care for all animals, big and small and especially loved her two cats, Romeo and Sheena.
Diana Canady was survived by her daughter, Cynthia Learie; her grandson, Eric Walker; and her two sisters, Lucia Johns and Dawn Fudge.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home And Memory Gardens located at 5740 S. Pine Ave., Ocala, FL 34480.
