

Domenica Cousins, age 93, of Harbor Chase of the Villages, peacefully passed away on May 20, 2026. Born on November 30, 1932, in Manchester, New Hampshire, Domenica lived a long and remarkable life rooted in faith, family, hard work, creativity, and community.
A proud graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire, Domenica went on to build a life filled with purpose and devotion. She married the love of her life, Ralph Cousins, on September 4, 1950, and together they shared many beautiful years creating a loving home and lasting legacy.
Domenica was a hardworking and entrepreneurial woman who dedicated much of her life to vegetable farming alongside her husband as co-owner of the Ralph Cousins Farm in Derry, New Hampshire. She later became the owner of a ceramics shop in Sebastian, Florida, where she combined her business spirit with her love for art and creativity.
She was an active member and leader in 4-H and found joy in sharing her many talents and passions with others. Domenica had a deep love for oil and watercolor painting, pottery, ceramics, pencil art, glass fusion, sewing, square dancing, round dancing, fishing, cruising, RV traveling, genealogy, and gardening. She was also musically gifted, as she known for playing the guitar, piano, and organ. Her vibrant personality, artistic spirit, and adventurous heart touched everyone who knew her.
Domenica was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Cousins. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her children, Wayne Cousins and Marcia Martin; grandchildren Maile Kim, Melanie Kim, Melissa Kim, Mia White, and Zachery Cousins; and great-grandchildren Giana White, Anna Cousins, Stella Cousins, Charlotte Cousins, Davin Kim, Nicolas Castaneda, Isabel Castaneda, Adan Castaneda, and Aurora Castaneda.
Her family and friends will remember Domenica for her warmth, generosity, artistic gifts, unwavering work ethic, and the love she poured into every aspect of her life. She created beauty wherever she went and leaves behind a legacy rich in memories, traditions, and unconditional love.
Funeral services will be held on June 6 at 12:30 p.m at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Ocala, FL.
Though she may be gone from our sight, Domenica’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
