Doris V. Browning, 91, a resident of Ocala, Florida, passed away at her home on August 26 2015. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri to James and Sylvia Trammell. Mrs. Browning moved to Florida 29 years ago. Before retirement she and her husband worked together at their own company, Advance Upholstery & Supply. She was a skilled upholstery seamstress, avid artist, doll collector and crocheter, a devoted wife and loving mother and a faithful member of The Church of God.
Mrs. Browning was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Charles E. Browning, and their son, James Browning. She is survived by two sons, Charles G. Browning (Wife, Gail) and Rick Browning and two daughters, Sharon V. Browder (husband, Paul) and Cindy Arney (husband, Mike). Mrs. Browning also leaves behind her younger sister, Judy P. Pendley (husband, Earl); 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Ocala, Florida from 4pm to 5pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 5pm. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens on Monday, August 31, 2015.
