Ella Kate Murphy Willingham, beloved mother and Nene, passed into the presence of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at Genesis HealthCare, Oakhurst Center on March 07, 2015. She was born on January 01, 1913 in Brantley, Alabama, to Malachi and Myra Murphy. She called Ocala, FL her home since 1960. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Ocala, for 55 years. She will be especially remembered for her unselfish devotion to her children, grandchildren and great -grandchildren. Her kindness and generosity touched everyone she met. She had a knack for communicating with people from all walks of life. Everyone fell in love with her Alabama accent. She passes on a legacy of love, devotion and faith to her family and friends. Survivors include sons Robert (Mary Anne), Donald (Sharon), Lance (Dianne) and daughter Brenda Humphries (Jim), eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Ella was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and brothers, her husband Bob and her granddaughter Sherry Kate Edrington Wolf. Graveside services will be held at 10am Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, FL.
