Erven Carr, 79, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on January 14, 2021. His life was characterized by his faith in Jesus Christ, his love for missions and his love to his wife, as well as his children and grandchildren. He loved to fish and he loved to watch Ohio State Buckeye Football. Erven was born on August 17, 1941 to Stanley (Buck) and Kathleen (Katy) Carr in Lebanon, Ohio. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Springboro, Ohio and faithfully attended the Riverland Baptist Church in Dunnellon, Florida while in Florida.
He is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Carr, mother, Kathleen Carr, daughter, Connie Engelman and sister-in-law, Margie Carr.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Donna R. Carr; daughter, Kathy Carr Keen and son-in-law, Gary Keen of Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter, Carol Carr Chaney of Cincinnati, Ohio, son-in-law, Bruce Engelman of Fort Worth, Texas, son, Rick Carr and daughter-in-law, Sharon Spencer Carr of Springboro, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren, Jennifer Keen Paschal (Kevin), Joy Keen, Jordan Keen (Leah), Abraham Chaney (Kenzie), Luke Chaney (Samantha), Caitlyn Chaney Simmons (Cody), Aowyn Chaney, Jason Engelman (Tori), Lindsey Engelman Flesher, Justin Engelman, Brittany Carr, Eric Carr, Dustin Carr; ten great grandchildren; sister, Patty Sevenson, twin brother, Merven Carr (Susan), sister, Beverly Carr Cirack, brother, Billy Carr, sister, Melany Carr Thomas (George).
Burial will take place at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park in Largo, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be sent to either First Baptist Church of Springboro, PO Box 906, Springboro OH 45066 or, to Riverland Baptist Church, 19455 SW 61st Street, Dunnellon FL 34432, and designated to missions.
