Eva Deeb (94) passed away peacefully on June 30, 2018. Eva was born September 1, 1923 in White County, Indiana to Frank and Florence Lind. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, John B. Deeb and her brother, Paul Lind. She is survived by son, Robert Deeb, daughter, Rebecca Deeb, granddaughters, Hilary Rice and Amanda Botts (Robert), great-granddaughter, Ella Botts and siblings: Phyllis Gray, Judy Phillips (Ron), Marjorie Cook and Fred Lind (Brenda).
Eva graduated from Royal Center High School in 1940, completed Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Kokomo, Indiana and later attended Indiana University and Central Florida Community College. She was a life- long learner.
A daughter, sister, registered nurse, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Eva was a lover of the arts, a published author, poet, painter, calligrapher and pianist. She was an avid reader, enjoyed music, theater, fashion, good nutrition and was an excellent cook. She was a member of the Weirsdale Presbyterian Church, The National League of American Pen Women and the Ocali Country Living Historians.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11a.m. with visitation at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Ocala, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please support Hospice of Marion County, Ocala, FL.
