May you rest in peace, Sgt Frederick Geer. I read that you have no family & I'm not sure if that is true... however, I believe the goal on this planet, is to act as family to one another. Even if there is no blood relation. Even if you've never met the person. No one should be alone. No one should be homeless either, as I read you were. Especially, a veteran. We live in a country which is fortune and blessed in comparison to other worldly standards. We shouldn't have anyone living on the street, let alone someone who served our nation. But without knowing your circumstances, I will simply thank you for your service and sacrifice...and hope others who read your story as I did will thank you for it. My father was a Vietnam vet who passed four years ago. He would want you remembered as well. On behalf of his memory, I thank you & hope you have eternal rest.
