Gladys Candelario, age 80, of Ocala passed away on November 22, 2019 at Ocala Regional Medical Center. She was born in San Turce, Puerto Rico on May 06, 1939 a daughter to the late Jose Candelario and the late Carmen Vidot. Her family remembers her for her love of the kitchen, her family, and memories made traveling and cooking. She was a master baker, and cook. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren; going shopping and traveling to different places. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Antonio Arocho Rodriguez, who passed on September 07, 2011. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Jose Rodriguez (61) of Ocala, her daughter, Yvette (Ramon) Borrero (60) also of Ocala. Her 3 granddaughters: Ivelisse Correa (40) of Summerfield, Yomaira (Michael) Borrero (29) of Ocala, and Leslie Borrero (23) of Ocala. She was granted the blessing of meeting her two great-grandchildren Katarina Diaz age 4 of Ocala, and Michael Diaz II age 1 of Ocala. Visitation has been scheduled for Friday, November 29, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala FL on. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 10am at St. Jude Catholic Church, 443 Marion Oaks Drive, Ocala, Fl. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala FL.
