Gretchen was born in Ocala, Florida, on June 27, 1975. She graduated from Hillcrest School and received her Special Education High School diploma.
Gretchen worked at Publix Super Market and was known for her dedication and kindness. She was a member of the Ocala Parrothead Club and Marion Therapeutic Riding. She had a deep passion for horseback riding, gymnastics, swimming, and dance.
She was preceded in death by her father, George “Skip” Kalb.
Gretchen is survived by her mother, Marie Kalb-Branch; her stepfather, Larry Branch; her brother, Scott Kalb; her sister-in-law, Tina Kalb; and her nieces, Danielle Sweeting, Kyndall Kalb, and Ashlyn Kalb.
