

Born in Hardinsburg, Kentucky, Harold was the son of Harold L. Meador, Sr. and Ruth Meador. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. His military service reflected the values of dedication, honor, and commitment that guided him throughout his life.
Harold was a proud member of both the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the American Legion, maintaining strong connections with fellow veterans and continuing his lifelong commitment to those who served.
Above all, Harold treasured his family. He shared 41 years with the love of his life, Carolyn, including 39 years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and enduring partnership.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Meador; his children, Stevie, Wade (Carmen), Michael, Yarah, Christina (John), and Andria; his grandchildren, Tyler, Devan, Jasmin (PJ), Toni, Lane (Brie), Sable, Tyler, James and Brandon; and his great-grandson, Jensen.
He is also survived by his sisters, Rita and Barbara. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold L. Meador, Sr. and Ruth Meador, and by his brother, Pat.
Harold will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his service to his country, and the quiet strength and steadfast presence he brought to the lives of those who knew and loved him.
His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the memories they will carry forward.
A committal service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, July 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513. Family and friends are invited to attend as we honor and remember his dedicated service to our country.
