Hattie C Hamblen

Hattie C. Hamblen, 71 of Ocala, Fl. Passed away on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014 at MRMC. Hattie was born in Leesburg, FL and has been a lifelong resident of the Ocala area. In 2007 she retired from the Post Office on Maricamp road after many years of being a carrier. Hattie enjoyed her family, gardening, traveling and fishing in Tennesee. Hattie is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Franklin Hamblen and brother- Lee Collins and sister- Queen Sears. She is survived by her loving children- Anthony, wife Angie, Christine, Linda husband John, Andy, Cynthia husband Doug, Randal, Martha, and Sarah. Grandchildren Amanda husband Jeff, Daniel wife Susan, Cody, Michael, Craig wife Brandilynn, Kaitlynn, Jessica, Ricky, Jennifer husband Jacob, Kassi, Courtney, Kimberly, Jacob, Jordan, Jenna, Madison, Colby, Kyle, Grace, Aubree. Great Grandchildren- Beau, Blake, Autumn, Mason, Caden, Leighton, Kammie, and Tenley. Sister-Mary Alice Musgrave, and brother- Bill Collins, and a host of friends. The Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM all are welcome to attend and visit with the family. There will be a celebration of Life service on Sunday, Sept. 14th at the Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM come and celebrate Hattie’s life with the family.
