Grandpa, from day one, I could barely understand the words you spoke. It's funny, looking back on it now, you never got frustrated from my lack of understanding. You would just smile and my mother, the translator, would help the conversation along. The one thing I will remember the most is just how at peace you always seemed to be. It's like nothing could phase you. No matter what, you always knew that everything would be fine. I pray we all find that same peace. The peace that passes all understanding. I am so very thankful I was able to see the peace that God provides, flow through you. I love you sir. Rest easy.

Dad, I Thank you first and most importantly for your example and how you lived your life, putting God first above everything else. I have always looked up to you as a father figure in my life, right now my heart is hurting that you are gone, but I know this, that you are with the Lord looking down on us from heaven. You have run your race and finished well. Your mission on this earth is complete, and you have left a lasting legacy that will carry on with your children, grandchildren and great grand children, Thanks You. I miss you. Juan D Smith Sr

Mr. Clarke's daughter Sonia is my daughter-in law. I met him when I lived in San Jose, California when he was on vacation. The Clarke family has always felt as if they are an extension of our family. Even though our time together was short, he left an impression with me that he never met a stranger but more importantly he was a man of faith.
Mr. Clarke has gone on to his heavenly home. I will continue to pray for his wife and family. There is one thing that I am sure of, they will meet again and God, the Comforter, is always present and with us as we go through the trials of life. Rest in Peace Mr. Clarke.

Mr. Clarke and I worked together at LaGuardia Hospital for many years! He was a dedicated hard working individual who always thought of others before he thought of himself. His family meant everything to him and he tried to provide everything he could to make them happy! He also loved his job at the hospital in the Engineering Department and really made a difference. May he find eternal peace in his final resting place . Jerry Scherer
