Hugh Fenton Jackson

1932-2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Hugh F Jackson in Ocala, Florida.

Hugh was born in Monument, Oregon to Clyde and Wave Jackson.

In 1950, Hugh graduated High School in North Powder, Oregon and joined the Air Force in 1951. He said it was one of the best decisions he ever made, as it set him up for success for the rest of his life.

Hugh married June Jackson in 1954 and they were married for forty eight years. They had four children, Clyde, Candye, Craig, and Cindy or as their mom called them: The 4 C’s. Hugh and June raised their family in Sherwood, Oregon

Hugh loved cars and motorcycles. He loved hunting, reloading ammo and shooting, boating, listening to old country music and playing his harmonica.

Hugh married Paula Jackson in 2005. They enjoyed music, traveling, and preforming. They were snowbirds, traveling between Depoe Bay, Oregon in the summer and Palm Springs California in the winter.

Clyde and Craig Jackson. Daughters Candye Parkin and Cindy Jackson. 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Paula’s children, Heather Kelly (Brian), Brian Lake (Kris), and Paul Karpus (Amber) and 6 grandchildren.

His memorial will be held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon with honor guards.
