It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of “James Andrew Smith” AKA “Andy”. Andy was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 30th, 1978 and sadly passed away in Gainesville, Florida on July 30th, 2025 at 46 years old.
Andy resided in Ocala, Florida and was a naturally blunt and sarcastic individual with his love for family and fantasy gaming.
Andy is survived by his mom and pop, Victoria and David Rushing. He is also survived by his 3 sisters and brother-in-law Jamie and David Blitch, Karensa Taylor, and Brittany Smith. Andy is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grandnieces, along with other extended family and friends.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date at the family’s discretion.
