Even though I only met Grandpa within the last two years, it was very apparent that he was a very kind and loving person. It is amazing to see how those traits have been passed along to his children and grandchildren to create one of the most loving and special families I have ever met. I am so happy that I got to see Grandpa dance and see his huge smile when his daughters walked in the room. Love and miss you Grandpa and hugs to all of the family. Love...

"It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. A part of the family went with you, the day god took you home. If years could build a stairway and heartaches make a lane, we'd walk our way to heaven, and bring you back again. In life we loved you dearly, in death we still love you, in our hearts you hold a place no one could ever fill" -Mary Elizabeth Fry. You left an impact on every single member of this families hearts. You were a great and honorable man. You gave your children stories that I will tell my children one day. You filled this family with love and happiness. I still remember when I was younger and you'd go to the Moose Lodge me and my dad would make fun of you and twittle our fingers by our ears and act out as Moose. From hearing stories about you escaping the concentration camp to all of you living in a school bus, these memories that you, yiya, Peggy, Demy, Anita, Penny, Pam, Alexis and Tony all shared together will be passed down for generations. You are greatly missed, and you are forever in my heart. Love you deeply, Karissa.

With two months shy of 92 years old...can you imagine the history that is lost, not just with my Father but with any person, so take your pencil and notepad where ever you go and be sure to write down the stories told by your parents, grandparents great grand parents and loved ones because once they are gone the stories go with them. I have had the wonderful experience of having one of the greatest men in the world as a Father. Maybe he wasn't a doctor or lawyer or have a high education in schooling...but he was loving and caring to everyone that came across his path, I do not know how many strangers who were down on their luck that he helped along the way of his journey through life. He has instilled the same thoughtfulness to his children and grandchildren...lets see if we can carry this teaching forward. My Amazing Father, I will miss you dearly. Love you my "Daddy-O".
