Joseph S. Cannarella was born on August 9, 1941 and passed away July 23, 2020. Joseph was born in Brooklyn, NY to Saverio & Concetta Cannarella. Joseph spent many years in Brooklyn, also living in Smithtown & Selden Long Island, NY before moving to Summerfield, Florida in 1974.
Joseph was a Plumber by trade working for Marion County Public Schools. His Hobbies were tinkering with vehicles, watching TV and movies. His biggest passions in his life though were his children, grandchildren & being with his family.
Joseph met & married Jeanette Misiano in 1963. Together they celebrated 57 years happily loving each other in marriage.
Joseph is preceded in Death by his father Saverio & mother Concetta; his brother Santos; his sister Lucy; & James C. Wallace.
Joseph is survived by his wife Jeanette Misiano Cannarella; daughters Gina Marie Cannarella & Denise Cannarella (Bruce) Claridge; grandsons Joseph James Wallace & Joshua James Wallace; granddaughters Ayla Claridge (Andrew) Wright & Dominque (Billy) Hessian; and 3 great-grandsons Joseph James Wallace Jr., Caiden J. Wallace & Rownan Claridge-Wright.
He further survived by his brother Frank (Carroll) Cannarella, his nieces & nephews: Lucyann, Sal, Frankie Jr., Bethany, Debra Beuther; as well as close family friends, JoAnn Dillon, Sara Wilcoxson-Wallace, Eric Mihocik, Abby Hubbard, Kim Armento, Eryn Chester, Kay Raines, Mary Pellerin, John Dossett, Sue Perkey, and Frank Jessy Harry - and many more close friends.
The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
