Julia was united in marriage to Edward Frye on January 21, 1968.
Throughout her life, she was known for the love and care she shared with those around her. She especially cherished spending time with her family and two great granddaughters. She also loved doing her family tree.
Julia was a proud member of the American Legion and VFW, reflecting her appreciation for community, fellowship, and service.
Julia will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family, including her children Steven Conner and Debra Barker; her grandchildren James Barker and Brittanie Violette; and her great grandchildren Alyson Violette, and Natalie Violette.
Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A graveside service honoring Julia's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memory Gardens in Ocala, Florida.
