June Ann Thomas

Born in Milton, NY on September 30, 1944, June was the daughter of the late Charles Ernest and Mary Ann Baxter. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rodney James Thomas, in 2011, and her brother, Charles Albert Baxter, in 2021.

June was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who took immense pride in her family. She is survived by her children: Wade Sargent (Amanda) of Marlboro, NY; Summer Sargent and Brye Sargent, both of Ocala, FL. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Kori Tompkins (Joe) and Kody Sargent (Taylor), both of Marlboro, NY; Dustin Wiskman and Morgan Wiskman of Florida; as well as two great-grandchildren, Madison Tompkins and Benjamin Sargent.

A talented and passionate hairdresser, June owned and operated multiple salons in both New York and Florida. She was proud of her career, which spanned over 50 years and brought joy and confidence to so many clients.

More than anything, June loved being "Nana." Her warm heart, strong spirit, and love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
