Kenneth Walter Grenier

Kenneth Walter Grenier, age 79, of Ocala, Florida passed away on Tuesday January 28, 2020. Kenneth was born January 24, 1941 in Norway, Michigan to Walter and Elfie Grenier. Kenneth proudly served in the United States Army, before transitioning to the private sector where he worked in Information Systems with various financial and medical institutions.

Ken met the love of his life, Kathy, and together they spent 39 very happy years. They were inseparable and together they brought out the best in each other. He referred to his and Kathy's couple-name as "K-squared" - it always gave him a smile to know she was with him.

Ken loved to craft for his hobbies; woodworking, stained glass, RC electronics were just a few. He celebrated his faith with St. Mark's Greek Orthodox Church.

Ken was a proud father and grandfather. He found a lot of joy in his grandchildren and enjoyed the time he could spend with them.

Ken is survived by his wife, and many members of his family.

The family would like to thank the many members of the ICU Staff at West Marion Hospital for the loving and extensive care they provided during this very hard time.

A church gathering for Ken will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Mark's Greek Orthodox Church, 9926 SE 36th Ave, Belleview, FL 34420, followed by a funeral service from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
