Luisa Santana, 91, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014 in Gainesville, FL. She was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico and moved to Florida over 33 years ago from the Bronx, NY. Luisa was a Registered Nurse and retired from the VA Medical Center in Gainesville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Rafael Santana, and is survived by her brothers, Carmelo Cruz-Morales and Gabino Cruz-Morales, sisters, Eustaquia Cruz and Catalina Berrios, and many nieces nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 12 pm with family to accept friends one hour prior at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 S Pine Ave Ocala, FL 34480.
